Binko-Si
ok folks, sit urself back for a long one lol I first got my Finesse from a scrapyard, nothing wrong with it only missing 4 doors, an engine, gearbox, clutch, suspension, exhaust, wheels...... but the rest was there lol. Next to it was an idential escort only the Si version..... so for a project idea i thought id buy the Finesse model (£50 bargin) then bought the Si (£200). Striped the Si completely and put them into the Finesse with wonder results...... then the hand of god stepped in. 2 weeks after completion i curbed the car on black ice bending the wishbone, alloy, damaging the exhaust. (£150 gone) 4 months after that, a neighbour from where i use to live thought itd be funny to play bumper cars with mine http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v620/MaverickJT/Image245.jpg She hit the front near side, which damaged the bumper, destroyed the headlight glass, bent the front of the bonnet and ruining the paint. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v620/MaverickJT/Image247.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v620/MaverickJT/Image246.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v620/MaverickJT/Image252.jpg She hit it with so much force that not only did it bend the chassis to a very slight degree, she sent the car flying backwards hitting a lamp post http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v620/MaverickJT/Image249.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v620/MaverickJT/Image250.jpg She hit me with a Peugeot 205 AUTOMATIC!!! YES AUTOMATIC.... her excuse "i wasnt concentrating and my foot slipped" Hers escape with very slight damage, her insurance company inspector said it would take £1900 to fully repair it (it was insured for £1500 so it was a rite off) A Trip to scrapyard later, shes as good as new...... but since then its gone through 4 wishbones, clutch, brake pads, 1 pully and cam belt, front exhaust pipe, 1 front, rear bumper spoiler and bonnet, 1 tracking rod end, 2 rear wheel bearings, rear brake shoes and 4 sets of tyres. People say im nuts for keeping but like i always tell them ITS A FORD THING, YOU SIMPLY WOULDNT UNDERSTAND lol
