Me reckons Hadland an Simon will be pretty damn close but I have faith in the cossie just by goin on his previouse records. The new set-up should be awesome all that tourque so low down is a great achievement plus the dog box and god knows whatever other tricks stuff he has on that motor. The EVO is awesome and has done sub 3 second 0 - 60's but I think the Escort will too.

Think there both hopin for low 10 / high 9 second qaurters and over 200mph top end! :jaw:

This is old news! Was 3-4 page 'discussion' about it on old cruisesouth board - will find the link was interesting reading.

ND Evo already done 10.99 1/4 mile if you remember from RS central day. He's what 710bhp? Don't think that with race fuel?

I love my cossies, but afraid I think we're going to get killed at TOTB2 as some very powerful Skylines and Evo's are being prepped which is easier and more capable of doing ;(

I dont recon the top Fords will get killed. Have faith LOL.

Yeah theres gonna be that project x Skyline but its purely a drag racer, theres plenty of road legal draggers that'll do similar times, but to me its not a real road car, then again tho where do ya draw the line.

The rest of the best aint gonna have much between em, probally a few tenths if that.

Gotta get mine finished and try and qualify for the FWD boys efforts! The entrants for that section are gonna be interestin this year IMO.

Anyway I'm of to Gran Canaria now. :D

I would still like to see Norris v Hadland up the strip and on a track :thumb: The Evo would probably win the 1/4 mile but not by a massive margin, however come track day I'm sure the Cossie will be able to scare some of the Evo's and Scooby's :innocent:

8) .......remember, on a track it's certainly not just the highest BHP that'll win.Correct set up is critical, ie suspension and brakes are a massive influence to lap times. Most importantly is driver skill and knowledge of the particular track.Another factor is reliability..............interesting eh, what do you think,

Cossie or Evo??
