Alan Escort SI Posted May 17, 2003 Share Posted May 17, 2003 Does anyone have any expeirence with the non - ford front bumpers. i desperately need a bumber and have searched everywhere for one and to no avail. what are the main differences between ford and the replacement? what do they fit like or is it a matter of where u buy it from. Pete Posted May 17, 2003 Share Posted May 17, 2003 I've had two aftermarket front bumpers on mine. First was the WRC one from ESP...Fitted perfectly, again on the same mounts. Then i bored with that and added a Laguna splitter to the bottom....Pretty sure thats staying now As for differences between them, aftermarket ones are made out of fibreglass which can differ in quality. The stuff I've had from ESP (www.espdesign.co.uk) has been top notch stuff but being fibreglass its obviously more fragile than the Ford stuff. You can also get them from Essex Racing (www.EssexRacing.co.uk) but I cant comment on their quality. Whatever you do dont go to RGM for bumpers cos many people have had some right shite from them Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
