1300power Posted March 28, 2009 Share Posted March 28, 2009 Ive just bought a 1.8 zetec for my escort to get rid of the 1.3. Its 115ps but i want it to be 130ps. 1300power Posted March 30, 2009 Author Share Posted March 30, 2009 pm me mate and maybe we can sort the engine out for ya i bought a whole road worthy gti for £130 thats how i got the engine. my mate has all the 130 parts on a 1.8 and its quicker than my mates 1.8 focus that was dyno'd at 146.7bhp. there is also a guide on burton power which agree it ups the power. i might get the cams n tht and then get a weber alpha kit. speedy Posted March 31, 2009 Share Posted March 31, 2009 all you need is cams throttle body and air flow meter will run fine dont no about performance increase but would not go swaping injectors etc as that realy can make the car slow and ecu would need to be a pre pats ecu and just to much hastle for whats going to probably make your car slower Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
