stevemrst Posted April 5, 2009 Share Posted April 5, 2009 I have a 1996 1.6 zetec escort it was my daily drive for 2 years it ran fine no troubles at all but in july last year i bought an rs so i parked up me 1.6 zetec and havnt used it since until today when i went to start her up it needed a jump start but thats ok its been parked up ages but when it starts the rev counter bounces the lights dont work when ya turn on the heater the lights flicker the rev counter goes all over the place and when i turn on the wipers or indicators the car cuts out .....Nothing on the car that is electrical actually works properly ...Im thinking its probably got an earth probrem due to the fact of being not used for 8 months .Can anyone confirm this or is there another thing i should know ?????CheersSteve Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
