trickydicky
Trying to get insured on a 3door 1.8 litre Escort and having some issues.Direct Line came out far cheaper than anyone else so I am going to go with them. However any 3dr version of the 1.8 (GTi, Si) are not covered by the insurance. The 5dr Ghia and LX are though. They are the same engine?Fair enough maybe the GTi has a bodykit on it but the Si? I'm looking a bit like this >
Gonzo0
Its the word 'GTi' that ups the premium, even if its the same performance.

trickydicky
Thanks for the ref but that's aimed at people with low no claims. I'm going to university and won't be using a car there so I'm just staying on my mother's insurance. She got 8 years of no claims. I'll still run a quote through though.
