escort4x4
shouldnt be a problem225 is the width of the tyre45 is the depth of the tyre
Craig855S
depends entirely on ur wheel offset and suspension setup,u may get some rubbing,or lots of rubbing
Gonzo0
Most likely to rub with that size 215/45/17 or 215/40/17 would be good depending on how low you are/going
escort4x4
his car doesnt look like its been lowered so cant see it being a problem at all, my car has been dropped 60mm and ive got 225 45 on mine, so unless his car has been dropped i cnt see it being a problem, i went to a part worn tyre dealer and they let me go for a test run on them and mine were fine, id suggest getting part worn, take for a spin to make sure they are suitable for ya
marshy
kk well its going to be lowered 30-35mm soon...but i may have found some cheapish 205/40/17s..just wont be for a wk or so..
nickblackburn82
225/40/17 would look better IMO as 225/45/17 looked odd on my old mk6 too much sidewall
