i have a set, was gonna put them in my escort but decided against it

van is on a y reg 2001

ok thanks for the replys

i was told that the clocks had to be from a diesel becase the feed for the revcounter came off the alternator and not the ecu like the petrol versions?????.... i am open to sugestions as i only know what i have read of here

if the petrol ones fit then how would i wire them up? (just dont want to buy the wrong ones)

thanks for help

Do the mk4/5 fiesta courier vans clocks not fit? Thought they did? Might make it easier to find some of them

I'l clear it up.

The digital dials are, of course, digital.

Any set will work.

Doesn't matter if it's petrol or diesel.

I bought a white petrol set for my van and it worked fine. (my van is on X reg)

hi so how did you wire up the revcounter?

rob

It's already wired in on the later vans.

If you turn the ignition until the heater coil light comes on, holding the trip reset button, keep holding the trip reset button until the word test comes up on the LCD display.

Repeatly press that button until the word "tach" appears, then you have a digital tach. And you will know that it has one.

Hi thanks for your help and the info Tricky :)

So by what you are saying if i get a digi dash with a rev counter in it (even if its of a petrol car) it should just plug in and work ?

if so ill get one and have a go it will add the finishing touch to the inside of the van

again thanks for info.

...p.s.

the clocks in the van did show tach and give a digi rev counter in the clocks :D
