Forza 3: Modding preferences

How do you mod? Do you blow your whole budget on your car and buy everything and absolutly blow the field away? Or do you just mod a bit at a time so it's still a challenge?

 

I personally only mod the current car im using a bit just so I can keep up with 1st place but so that it's still a challenge to win

I generally just use the quick upgrade option.

That's one thing i've never used as I prefer to do things my own way, like at the minute i'm using a Focus RS and it felt like a whale so 1st thing I done was done the lightweight mods, but don't think the quick upgrade woul have done that

Seems to lighten the car every time I use it.

Can you actually find out the mods it does and once you do a quick could you then go back and still upgrade it yourself ?

i went gun hoo on mine, didnt know i wud win one so i bought one, kept winning races in it and my abarth, And modded it till there was nothing left to mod,

 

Mine is know 2.8 ltr turbo charged 4x4 running roughly 540bhp.

Also have a BMW M5 Twin Turbo pumping 800+ bhp

 

The only trouble i have is that where mine is highly modified i cant enter certain races, only way of entering them is to remove parts if i want to enter, so i stick to me v8 alfa.

depends on the car/what races i want to do in it really, i've got afew good A class cars which i use most often, then I've got aload of other cars that I've bought all the best stuff for
