Welcome to the very First Escort EVO Merseyside Meeting thread !!! This has been on the Cards for over a year now ever since I started a Topic about it, there has been some genral interest for a Merseyside Area Meet for a while now as there are a few of us in the area, the time and dates have been a talking point and we are never going to have a perfect time or date so for starters we will have it on a Monday and see how it goes plus its a few weeks away so we have pleanty of time to make sure were free to attend !!! ABOUT THE MEET As this is our First Meet theres no history as yet but over time lets see if we can change that !!! The Plan is to arrive at the designated location and get there for arround 19:00, I shall arrive a bit earlier to greet people as they turn up, the Game Bird Sponsors an MG-ROVER meet I also organise and they are a fantastic bunch of people and there is a private section of Car Park at the back next to the Playground that we get to take over lol !!! After looking at each others Cars we take a few pics and weather permiting we stay outside in the lighter evenings and Weather permitting we can film some fantastic drive-by Videos of Engine and Exhast sounds due to the layout of the East Lancs, as you pull out of the Car Park there is a Roundabout which takes you back past the Game Bird which makes for some great footage, you can either come back in via the first gap in the road or carry on lol !!! I have always set up Meets at a Pub Resturant so that if the Weather takes a turn for the worst or if its the Winter Months there is always somewhere warm to sit, plus the facillities of Toilets Food and Drink always go down well !!! These Meets are Family Friendly and we make Spouses and Girlfriends very welcome and find locations with Playgounds for Members with Children, all the Locations have Baby changing facilities !!! There are quite a few of us from all over Merseyside and the general North West area and we gladly welcome more, if you know any other Members on EVO who are near the Meet or Friends who own an Escort then SPREAD THE WORD !!! Save Fuel and come in each others cars, if your Escort is off the road as a lot are Works in Progress then come by any means !!! If none of you turn up just know you'll have left him sitting there as he will turn up and he will spend all night if he needs to waiting to see if anyone turns up.
