RSDers
I'm planning to get 17" alloys and also 60mm lowering springs for my mk5b escort estate, do you think it would be okay with speed bumps, also wheels rubbing against arches etc?
[ . D a r k // ]
Depends on what kind of kit you have on, plus any splitters etc as to whether it's going to catch on speedbumps. Again same for the wheels, depends on what width wheel, offset and what profile tyre you choose as to if it rubs or not. I put on some 18" wheels on with a 35ET and 215/35/R18 and had no issues with rubbing. The car was on standard shocks and springs, but was 5 up and a bootload of crap.
