duke2k7
Hi guys, just wanted to know if I can pop 'any' alloys onto my Escort, or will I need what are called 'offsets' - and just to sound like a complete n00b (which I am and don't mind admitting) - what are they??? meekstaaa
no you can't 'pop' any alloy on your car. It has to be a few different factors: Offset - how far it sticks out or in from the hub of the wheel (you can't have wheels sticking out of the car for legal reasons) stud (or what ever its called) - how many bolt holes it has, obviously you can't fit a 5 studded rim to a 4 studded car. pcd (again i think thats what its called) - the gap between each bolt hole, this varies from make to make of car. obviously you can't go too small a wheel either as it won't fit over your brakes. But with an Escort i don't think thats much of a problem.I think thats all right but people please correct me if i got any information wrong

I think i will end up having standard ford alloys as that seems to be the less hassle way of doing it...i actually really like the triangulat alloys off the finesse, but i luuuuurve the gti 5 spokes
