danny1987 Posted May 31, 2010 Author Share Posted May 31, 2010 lowering / coilovers doesn't often make for good handling on an every day road car what would you suggest then, it needs a bit lowness for the look really. a;lso what would you do to increase engine performane i saw one guy with a focus listed on piston heads he had his 1.8 tuned up to 137 bhp on a rolling road. ScORTED Posted May 31, 2010 Share Posted May 31, 2010 yeah you can tune the engines but its best to decide what you want in the begining and plan how to get there.as for the suspension i think the zetec is spot on for normal use, i'd just like it lower and the eibach springs are highly reccomended for the focus so maybe some of those coupled with st170/zetec shocks (they're the same) unless you want to go low low low which is always a massive handling/comfort compromise Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
