steve109 Posted August 22, 2010 Share Posted August 22, 2010 Afternoon all, For sale is my R reg escort ghia 1.6 petrol 5 door finished in the colour Mica Stone 80K on the clock, Lowered all round 40mm on springsAir filter and oil breather filterPuma gear knobLaguna splitterMondeo 16" wheels with new tyres about 8,000 miles ago, still plenty of life in themUpgraded to fogged front bumperRS acessory spoiler with brakelightSub and Amp in the boot, which I may or may not leave in with the saleElectric heated mirrors and heated front/rear screensSmokes side repeatersNew Rocker cover gasket, full oil change, oil filter, spark plugs changed 1000 miles agoNew stock rear shocks 1000 miles agoNew rear drums/pads/brake cylinders 2000 miles agoNew rear wheel bearings 2000 miles agoNew cat back stock exhaust system 3000 miles agoNew front brake hoses and piping to the rear 3000 miles ago Its a great runner, never let me down in the 2 and a bit years I've owned it Now for the bad points It's been off the road since the beginning of June, therfore has no Tax and the MOT has just ran out, when it was last MOT'd it had a few advisories that I have addressed so I can't see it being a problem to go through its next one. And it has been started every week or so since being off road, starting fine everytime. There is a little rust showing through on the rear passenger door, and a spot on the driver side sill, although it doesn't look that bad at all. There is one spot of rust on the rear drivers side arch, but all other arches are still clean.There is a squeek when coming off the accelerator, research shows its either a downpipe gasket or possibly an engine mount which needs replacing?Hair line crack in the rear bumper I also have parts to put it back to standard if needs be, and would happily do it for you before collection. Standard springs/airbox/repeatersand the alpine stereo will be being taken out before sale, if i find the old CD unit it came with i will put that in its place.Reason for sale is wanting to upgrade to a different car Price wise I'm looking for £850, won't be splitting as I dont have the time and its far too much effort. I've tried to be as honest as possible and if you have any questions I'll be happy to answer them Located in Lincoln but might be able to organise to trailer it to Southport (parents house) or somewhere along the way if needed.
