If you keep the current ACs, keep them silver. They look gash in black.

 

If you change them to m-sport sunflowers ones, go black, maybe with a polished or coloured lip.

 

I think the silver drums look okay from this distance.

Mrs hates me now I've painted the wheels but I quite like how it looks. Thinking about getting some rim tape, unsure on which colour to go or though.

Not been on for a while so thought I'd do an update. The back tyres were scrubbing on the arches so I rolled and extended them a bit.

Bought a set of springs and dampers of Mykez too, fitted them yesterday. The rear is a little higher than I wanted so will see what I can do about that when I get some time.

Slowly getting there. Front wings are next on the list due to rust etc and possibly a new exhaust.

In my experience, the worst thing you can do for an E36's handling is slamming the rear. Fair enough if you're only cruising about though, but if you're pushing it, it's a fairly light rear to be sat on rock hard -60mm springs.

 

I'd leave it 2 weeks to see how it settles

As above, having rake on an E36 is a good thing Not too much though... I've set my coilovers up so the rear sits higher, handles nicely and looks good as the rear arches are a different shape to the fronts!

I agree, my handling is terrible, was even worst when I had coilovers at front and normal lowering springs at rear, it's a little better now im stiffer at the rear, as before my front end was rock hard and rear was softer,
