Owning two cars

If I were to own 2 cars, say my daily, my focus and an escort/fiesta as a toy for summer days ECT how would things work with NCB

Both cars will insured all year so i'm guessing if it were two different policies it would be two different lots of NCB

Say i decided to sell the toy car and say I had gained two years claim free on it, what would happen to the NCB because im already running another car

Would that NCB i earned be scrubbed off and forgotten or could it be contributed to my other car or saved for another policy?

if you insured the 2nd car for 2 years, then sold it I beleive the 2year No claims that you've built up can be used at a later date, normally up to 2 years later but can vary from insurer to insurer. Obviously you would need to keep the proof that you'd earned this.
