cossy Posted March 8, 2011 Share Posted March 8, 2011 My vespa scooter parked outside my house was hit the the dowsy git next door but one and has damaged both sides (side rubbish hit and the side that hit the floor as it had been knocked over) what i want to know is can i claim off her insurance and will it affect my own insurance ie go up at renewl time? No it wont affect your insurance, why would it, she hit it & you were nowhere near it. Moved to the correct section for you. She had an obligation to stop & give you her full details.It is not uncommon for someone to try & pull a fast one after sleeping on it.
