X reg mondeo 1.8 Zetec

Up for sale is my 2000 X reg medium steel blue 1.8 zetec with a genuine 86K, tax till end of july and test till Jan.

I have spent a small fortune on this car:

  has damage to back bumper caused by ford salesman but wasnt bothered as i was going to fit RSAP but bought an ST24 instead.
  lexus lights are only because i wanted the standard lights for my ST as i dont like them.
   
  Being a zetec has plenty of toys as standard.

yes I only paid £700 for it on xmas eve but 1) dealer was stupid and 2) it's had over £300 worth of new parts ignoring labour plus it had next to no tax and test.

been using this a bit lately as doing some work on my st. Have fitted 6 cd changer under passenger seat and got rid of those horrid rear lights in favour of some standard ones.

 

This is amazingly quick for only a 1.8 mondeo and has seen off a few fiesta ST's from the lights due to the 1.8's better gearing compared to 2.0's allowing for quicker acceleration and this actually having decent power and torque (just not as much as the ST's V6 - no surprises there)

 

I am on the look out for a replacement rear bumper as that is literally all this car needs. bumpers go max £40 so if i havent got one by the time it sells i'll knock £50 off so £775

 

this is genuinely one of the nicest mondeos around - tbh on some ways this is better than my st on cosmetics
