gecko
Front right suspension is banging every time we go over speed bumps, which are so numerous down where I live there is more speed bumps then clear tarmac (well seems like that). Anyways was thinking of coilovers, I have 14" wheels and thinking about dropping 40mm max at most as well as fitting lower profile tyres, if needed. But cost of course is my hurdle, any suggestions, I said about £250 to wife, but what would I get in suspension for so little cash. As well of course taking into account a car fully loaded with people and camping gear as well as taking into account speed bumps. Was looking at gmax at esp, cost £239.95, but it says in description for "show use" only?

Pete
I dont think you mean 'coilovers'. They are basically height adjustable with springs smaller in diameter aswell. They start at around £900 for the Escort I think your after a full suspension kit with springs and shocks.....
