jghs83
i know how to change a door but what is other peoples experiences with doing so? any problems?
marshy
i never really had any problems with the doors on my white one.. just little adjustments using the grub screws on the hinges...its better as a 2 person job tho (one person holding the door and the other making the adjustments..)..what problems are you having?? or are you just enquiring about any problems you might come across??if the doors you are getting are already off the car... make sure you check all the edges etc and the straightness.. jghs83
Its just allignment that im fussy about. Ive found a set of 4 doors local in silver and was just gonna try before i buy. The actual swap will take at most 5 minutes per door. Its setting em up that be a pain.
mattius
i've taken does off in the past that seem to be welded on to the hinges, and the others that almost fall off. Only re-fitted 2 doors but never really had enlignment issues with them

ALL4SHOW
over the years ive worked out with my cars nothing is as ever simple as it should be !!!! HA HA . does the pin stay in the door part of the hinge or the car part ?? i just thought it would be simpler to swap the doors over with the electrics than swap over just the electrics

Lift and wiggle side to side and it will ease out. You'll never lift it of easy unless your 100% virtical to the car. Wiggle bit by bit. Might look funny ( like your dancing with it!) but it'll work.
