diamond are cheaper for me?

for some bizarre reason after getting back on the road after a 12 month ban diamond (the female insurer's) seem to be giving me the lowest quotes at the moment.

still expensive but i cant complain after being banned.

but the bit i cant get my head around is if that i stick my missus on the policy aswell (she only has a prov licence an cant really drive) it becomes £100 cheaper ??

 

it's very strange how insurance company's work
