jghs83
ive got a set of escos's fitted to my escort estate and still havnt replaced the 195/40r16 tyres that came with them. as you can imagine the stretch is stupid - http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab3/jghs83/escort%20cisworth%20tyre%20stretch/47cb1e6f.jpg now ive currently got falken ze912's fitted that do perform quite well apart from when the roads are remotley wet, when its flogging it down there not that bad now im thinking about going 205/45r16's but what others do you have fitted? any piccies on the stretch? how thick are the rim protectors? i do mainly motorway miles in it so track tyres like t1r's etc arnt nessacery. was going to go either falken 912 hancook v12 conti sport2 but i need some pics of what these would look like from the point of view against the wheel rim. cheers

jghs83
t1r aren't a track tyre! of your three contenders i'd go conti sport2 Realsed that after i posted its the r1r i was thinkin of at the time :/. They are a sport orientated tyre though and dont last long. Looking ideally for a tyre that has a hardish wall and thick rim protector so contis are looking favourite.
