And what would cost be or what not? cheersHi, The cost really depends on your insurer, they may give you a refund depending on the insurance level of the new vehicle, but they will charge an admin fee (probably about £20). PeeWee Posted December 4, 2011 Share Posted December 4, 2011 (edited) Yes they do it with minimal fuss over the phone but as stoo says it all depends on the insurer & the change of vehicle really.Dont expect it to be lower as it rarely is & expect as mentioned an admin fee.They also usually let the two vehicles be insured for a short period to allow you time to go from one to the other.CIS let me be insured still on the old car for 10 days while insured on the new car where recently Churchil set it so that I was insured on the current car untill I stepped into the new one that day.
