heated windsceens

what escorts came with heated front windscreens, and would it be difficult to fit. in the fiesta all i had to do was buy the windscreen and basically plug it in (obviously not that simple but u catch my drift)

 

what sort of figures am i looking at, and how difficult is it

Besides the screen itself.

 

You will need the loom that runs from the grey plug (back RHS side of engine bay, to the battery fusebox) & the dual switch.

 

There are two main types of the loom, but at least 10 variants of it, depending on spec/engine of car.

 

The two main types are with air con and one without air con. As these features share the same grey plug.

 

The behind dash loom should be there. Pull out your rear heated switch and you might find attached to the loom a seperate plug. This is for the front screen.

 

Scrappy for a Escort Ghia or LX with the HFS option is your best bet
