Hello all,

I am putting this up on behalf of the missus. She has decided she wants a smaller car so my future potential boombox is unfortunately for sale. She hasn't got a replacement yet so this thread is just gathering interest.

It's a 1998 (S reg) Audi A4 Avant 1.8 SE Petrol Manual. It's done approx. 145k miles and is used daily for commuting.

It's :-

- In good general condition

- Fitted with Bilstein B8 dampers and H&R springs (~20k miles)

- Fitted with a 312mm front brake conversion + Ferodo DS2500 pads (~20k miles)

- Got lightly professionally-tinted rear/rear-side windows

- Got professionally refurb'd black OEM 16" wheels with Federal SS-535 tyres fitted (guess at half worn)

- Got a Yuasa AGM battery installed mid last year

- Fitted with a Parrot MKi9100 bluetooth kit (subject to negotation as she wants to keep this functionality on her new car)

- Got a recently repaired central locking pump (these are prone to go)

- Had a couple of oil/water leaks repaired professionally recently

- Got a full set of spare door cards in black/grey

- Tax & MOT (expiry tbc, but expect around June/July time)

Unfortunately it also has :-

- Slightly leaky rad (top up a bit every month or so)

- Bit of play in the steering rack

- Faulty ABS computer (brakes are fine, just no ABS - repair is about £100 on ebay)

- Missing pixels on instrument cluster (common)

- Rattly aftermarket exhaust (can supply a used OEM exhaust to go back on, subject to negotiation)

Car is located in Chelmsford, Essex. Missus is hoping for £1k ono.

Let me know if you have any questions :)

Your eBay ads always look luverly

A lot of sellers don't realise the difference that a well laid out ad can make to a sale.

On a side note, I think I put the name of the eBay seller of pattern radiators in my coupe thread. Mine was less than £60 and the A4 should be a 20 minute amateur job to fit. Seemed great quality and no issues 18 months on :)
