tockwell
Hello, Both of my DCOM carbs have started leaking fuel from the bottom of them. Does anybody have any experience of this? I've order a service kit and shall probably replace the gaskets. The carbs have been properly set up. I am quite annoyed as I have just finished replacing the rest of the system. I have no idea how long this has been happening though, but is quite lucky I noticed I suppose!

Appears to be leaking from the 'bottom gasket' (36) http://petrolpowered.com/include/pages/tec...rams/dcoe45.png (My carbs are DCOM rather than DCOE though)
tockwell
I've just taken a picture and it is hard to see from where it is leaking. It does have a regulator (3psi), (but not a return until quite recently), but I think the fuel pump has been run for too long for the engine running (or on idle maybe) http://ockwell.net/car-temp/carb/1.jpghttp://ockwell.net/car-temp/carb/2.jpghttp://ockwell.net/car-temp/carb/3.jpg
