corsairnutta
My escort cab i got a while back, been converted to 1.8D non turbo, plan to keep it looking standard like ford made an official diesel version just to confuse a few people! Planning to run this on used veggie oil to keep costs down as i do a fair few miles to work. Anyone know the colour is as logbook says green but looks more blue. http://www.evo-host.co.uk/getimg/29045.jpghttp://www.evo-host.co.uk/getimg/29046.jpghttp://www.evo-host.co.uk/getimg/29047.jpghttp://www.evo-host.co.uk/getimg/29048.jpg
PeeWee
Hi there & welcome, colour looks lovely although Im not quite sure what it is (someone else here will though I'm sure)Hopefully you have researched into veggie oil & how to use it too as I'm sure there's certain ways to filter it for use in cars plus there will be some sort of duty to be paid using it for fuel if I recall?Personally I can't think of a worse car to use veggie on, it's a convertible it will stink lol. corsairnutta
Yes i have thought about the smell of veggie oil but i've been told if you filter it really finely it will remove the chip shop smell!, something to experiment with me thinks. If the price of fuel keeps going up!!!!!!!.
