got a diesel van that the heaters dont go hot on, they work on all speeds but only do cold

any ideas?

is the engine getting warm? and are the pipes going to the matrix getting warm ?could also try pulling off both heater matrix hoses and flushing with a hose pipe have known them to block up soild especially if the coolant is a bit dirty :thumb:

checked the pipes going to the matrix, left hand pipe gets hot but right hand pipe stays cold, any ideas?

then to me its looking more like the matrix is blocked ,worth pulling off the hoses and flushing it out .if the coolant was flowing othrough the matrix both pipes would be warm :thumb:

ill give that a go tomorrow then, im assuming a hose will be fine to flush it out?

yes ,the water should flow easy through it (you are going to get wet)flush it from both sides of the matrix keep changing from side to side until it runs clean good luck :thumb:

if this cures it dont forget to put antifreeze back in as its not just antifreeze its also prevents corrosion :thumb:
