the problem is, this morning the heater didnt work when turned on, all displays come on, but for sum reason it didnt kick in, it only started working about 3 hrs later on my way home from a job,

i was coming down motorway about 100 and i turned the heater on, and all of a sudden it started working, tried it again afterwards, but nothing, cant find any leakes, or anything, but all i can hear is a slight buzzin, when it is turned on coming from the windscreen area, of the dash,

can anybody tell me what the problem could be,.

all pipes are getting warm, that should do.

thanks for your help

im guessing its a problem with the fan not the heater matrix a common fault is the resistor.its located under the bonnet up by the windscreen scuttle panel ,they get water in them and the contacts go rusty :thumb:

lol see above... thought you had a escort :thumb:

just found the problem, with the heater, it is the the plug that connects to the motor, it is a dodgy connection, when i moved the plug it kicked in, and started working, so have took it off and cleaned the connectors, & closed the gap together, and its working fine now.

thanks for all your help & advice,

much appreciated
