Ecu 60-Pin Eec-V Pin-Out Information

Hello i recently bought a '97 Escort 1.8 115hp RKC engine equipped with 60-pin ECU which for my maybe unpleasant surprise happens to be EEC-V, not EEC-IV with which im familliar more or less.. The code of the ECU written on the plastic harness plug of the case is "HOAX".

I have some electrical issues, one of which is around 5,5-5,6 volts on the sensors which require 5 volt line, like TPS, ECT and MAF.

For nearly a week im searching for some pinout info of this ECU because neither in Autodata, nor in Tolerance Data or in any other soft like that i have there is any information, only for EEC-V type with 104 pins.

Someone told me that a problem like this may be caused by a "floating earth" or as loose eath connection as i understand it.

Simmilar to EEC-IV i found that there is earth (or battery negative) on pins 20, 40 and 60 of the plug to the ECU. I fixed them with a direct wire to the battery "-" but i cant risk making other connections by guessing what is on the other pins by a simple ohm-meter via basic analogy to the eec-iv.

There may be a chance in the near future to swap the engine for 2.0 from Mondeo so anyway i will need the pin-out information as this is not cowered in the available guides.

So any input on any of the problems is warmly welcome.
