Georgio
Hi.Fiesta turbo's had efi engines, not mfi's.Escort rs turbos had mfi's and the system is completely different from efi.OFAB and OFAC is 2 different types of efi managemnet, and OFAB is older than OFAC,but can read more boost by replacing the map sensor. So,for me to help you,I must know what kind of engine you have.Any pics of it?If it is from a fiesta then almost sure it will be efi.I can upload some schematics, but you must be familiar with electronics and electrics. You will also need a multimeter for finding what goes where. If you are not competent on electronics and you are not sure what you are doing, better let someone who knows to set the wiring, because even a fire could start if not connected everything properly. If you are sure of what you are doing, post upload a pic of your engine and ECU and I will try to help you. Georgio
Ok,here you are...the schematics for OFAB are here...Not sure what you must connect for the mk6,but i used the following wires.A continyous +12V for keeping data in the ECU,a switched +12 V of relatively heavy gauge wire since it will feed the injectors, you connect the oiw warning light, and the fuel pump signal from the ofab ecu to the existing loom of the car.If you haven't an electric fuel pump, you must bring +12V back to the fuel tank with heavy gauge wire via a relay driven by the ecu signal.Of course you need a petrol fuel tank. You must not use an atmospheric version fuel pump.I mean you should use the appropriate fuel pump from the fiesta rs turbo or the escort cosworth one.The atmospheric version ones can't cope with the increased demand on turbo applications, and won't last long. You also run the danger mof running lean with bad results for your engine... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v205/Georgio59/ofabloomdiagram.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v205/Georgio59/OFABEFIPLUGSDIAGRAM.jpg The schematics are tested and are correct. This is what I used for my engine transplant... For some reason I don't have permission to edit my post,so I post a new one... The above are ONLY for OFAB.OFAB and OFAC are not interchangeable, unless you alter the wiring and use the appropriate map sensor and the IAT sensor for the correct ECU
