luke83g Posted May 11, 2013 Share Posted May 11, 2013 Hi, my 2000 Escort does not have a automatically adjusting clutch - I have read in the Haynes manual that later models have a manually adjustable clutch pedal via an allen key on the pedal. The biting point on my Escort is high. I want to perform the adjustment and wondered if anyone has any advice? Looking from the outside of the car towards the clutch pedal which way should I turn the adjuster so that the bite is lower in the pedal? Thanks guys - never done this before!
