268
Looks as though its coming from the box containing the heater matrix etc. turned the engine on and water started trickling out if it. Is it a drain tube as its not attached to anything? http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f57/759759/4140BD59-3BE8-423C-B3EE-8015B9412B51-5208-00000417BC3404BA.jpghttp://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f57/759759/E9EBE600-7CC2-4A58-84B1-7443A6FE11B2-5208-00000417F119F7E5.jpg It's on a 1.6 escort finesse Cheers! 268
Yeh, I've got air con and have been using it all day?
Ahmotorsport
Sounds like you've found what it is. Under the evaporator there is a tray that collects the water, it's probably from that. Though i've never looked at air con on an Escort, but it seems to be in the right area.
268
Is it normal for that to happen then? Or is there a problem? Cheers for the help guys
SteveB
Is it normal for that to happen then? Or is there a problem? Cheers for the help guys Don't worry about it - it's perfectly normal. I would advise you though that it's not pointing the right way - it should go down with the director facing forward (not sideways with the director facing in). Escort Si-130
As above, perfectly normal. If you had a garage on hot summer days when you come home after a drive paraking the car up with air con. You would notice a puddle on the floor after around 30 mins. from the drain. Happens with all vehicles with air con.
