Hi fellas how hard is this to do? I'm competent with tools as I'm a engineer by trade . Isit easy enough?

If it's anything like the 1.8 Zetec, it's a bit of a faff with the rear gearbox mount, but it's certainly not the worst one in the world.

It really depends on if you can use a ramp or not but saying that it's not too bad I've had worse gearbox jobs
