Scotteh Posted June 1, 2004 Share Posted June 1, 2004 nightmare, i was gonna put on some 17"s but 12mph is quite a bit ! how often do actually go top end and keep the car top end?.....imo does it really matter if u lose 12mph off the amazing 115/120 it does anyway, hardly a shocking speed in the first place lol Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
--RoY-- Posted June 1, 2004 Share Posted June 1, 2004 First two gears seam quite a bit slower but 3rd and 4th seam no diffrance on my 1.6.i lost an indicated 12mph top end on mine with 17's...but like u said muz, only lost noticable pace in 1st and 2nd you sure you lost it. It might just say on the speedo as its does get a bit out after a hundred so because you got your 17's on it might be the same speed as before,just not showing up on the speedo Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
