Cossie Dave
I've got 215/35/18 on mine and to honest I haven't noticed any difference but the wheels I chose are much lighter than any others I lifted at around the same time, I would imagine this would help to not slow the car down but as to how much effect it has I don't know. rachyxx
i have 205/40/17's on and i agree, bottom first two gears are terrible but not much difference at the top end, my fuel is consumption is shite and it did stiffen up my power steering, that was what i noticed more as i have bad arms!!! but 17's do look better!! Jackster
I have 17s on my 1.6 the first 2 gears are really sluggish so no trying to race people at traffic lights otherwise i would get shown up. I have noticed the tracking is always being knocked out very easily (and no i havent been bouncing off kerbs). Cant say i have noticed much more heavier steering though. plumber60
Yeah i noticed it straight away on my 1.8, fuels up as well as im having to hammer it to keep up lol, after some nice 15's now get some 16's with 215/35/16 tyres they have a smaller rolling circumference(sp) than the standard 15's on most scorts with 195/50's
