muzzy
but everyone keeps on talking about their steering shacking and alsorts! Whats the crack? Ive not noticed any shacking or bad steering since putting my 17"s with 40mm drop on. As long as you get tracking, wheel blancing etc you should be ok. Handling has inproved no end since ive gone from 14" to 17". Got tons of grip now and handles in the rain like it never did befor.
John
but everyone keeps on talking about their steering shacking and alsorts! Whats the crack? right the downsides that can happen, bigger wheels can in some cases "tramline" on the road especialy motorways etc where trucks run. grip in the wet isn't exactly great due to having a larger area of contact to try and disperse the water between road and tyre, the bigger the contact area the more downforce needed to use the grip there. notice rally cars etc in wet conditions use really skinny tyres? shaking steering etc is only caused by wheels being incorrecty balanced, any decent tyre center will sort that for under 20 quid.
