Mike C
just walked across the shop, and on the carpark I use as a shortcut I saw a tidy looking mk5 (L-reg, so wudda been facelift) Ghia Estate, had the original ghia rims on and the obligatory England flag lol! was a smart dark metallic grey colour. Anyway, thought nothing of it, then when I came back and saw the front of it, it had a complete mk6 front on. Have heard bout people doing this before, but 1st time i seen anything like it meself. Look odd tbh, just didnt seem to go. Was gonna nip back and take a camera phone with me or summat to take a quick shot, but when I looked back, a bloke and his missus were just getting into it

Tythman
In theory it shudnt look too strange. they are almost identical, the mk5 and mk6. with some work you'd be hard pressed to spot a mk5b to mk6 conversion. ok maybe easier for people on this forum but for you're average joe aint gonna be able to tell.... just my 2p
