Nick C
Where do I jack from with a Hydraulic jack...and then where do I put the axel stands when it is jacked up? Pics would be great, need to do an oil change and some other work but I have no idea where its safe to jack from without the car falling on me! Cheers
Cyrix
Ummm u dont need yor car on axle stands to do an oil change infact yor dont want it tilted in anyway to do an oil change, Yo can slide nderneath the car fairly easily on a level surfact, unless yor one of the larger forum members lol. As for jacking, i jack behind the lip on the sill just behind where thr ford jack would go.
Nick C
Behind the lip on the sill? Just i'm not sure I can slip under it, i'm not fat lol (I Bodybuild so far from it) but its quite a low car...and I don't think I can get under it lol. hmmmm
Cyrix
You will be able to slide under it fairly easily.......even if its been lowered it wont be that hard.........Even taknig the front bumper (Bumber) off only takes seconds if dont fit lol, altho strippnig the frotn end down for a oil change is a bit excessive
rfcrangers
As for jacking the car up use the chaasis legs under the car it`s nearer the cetre of the car. As for the back use the axle to jack up .
