Panel above glovebox

The panel above me glovebox, where the outlets of the fan are has come really loose. I found the 2 retaining screws inside the glovebox that hold the fcuker on and tightened up but did nothing to solve the problem. Is there bolts anywhere else that may be loose, if not what can i do to fix it?

do u mean there is air coming out the vent?

No, what i mean is the actual bit of plastic they sit on thats about the same size as the glovebox, it is situated above the glovebox and has an air vent in it, the whole panel has come loose. Hard to explain.

right might, if that is loose just check and make sure the screws are in right,

 

the screws are phillips and u can use a normal screwdriver to fix it.

 

They screws are located as follows

 

1. undo the thing where u put ur cup of tea

2. look underneath and on the far left and far right there are two screws. make sure they are they are in tight enough,

 

if not then tell me

aye mine is loose atm as well, cud be a common thing with escorts

common prob with the MK6 dash , i think the brackets for it bend out , mine went loose cuz people used it the pull against when moving the seat foward

Mines loose with people holding on to it for dear life
