Burnin' Bournemouth

Been feeling sick as a dog all day, but I was determined to go to this official cruise at the Matchams Raceway just outside of Bournemouth.

 

It started at 6pm, but I could barely stand let alone drive me car there!

 

Finally managed to get moving, and shot off at 8.40pm, arriving at 9pm. I was chuffed to find the £5 per person only applied to over-eighteens ( Top marks to Westover.org.uk for encouraging the youths)

 

My extended entourage consisted of me, my son; Luke and his mate Joe, my daughter; Jade and her mate Kelsey (My son's ex! ), so it would have been a very expensive outing.

 

I saw loads of people leaving, and thought we'd missed most of the stuff but even so I was not disappointed.

 

Took shedloads of piccys, but in my haste, I forgot to take my tripod. So please excuse the hand-held shots. Someone always seemed to knock into me at the very moment I released the shutter

 

I saw this reminder of my childhood

 

 

and a pink-flip Supra

 

 

a couple of Cossie-alikes that were looking the dalmation's danglies.

 

 

not to mention a Fcukarse that was recently in Fart Cart UK but the picture got screwed!

 

Not too sure If my photobucket will open for other peeps, hopefully it will if you go to My pikachewers where the full size images are to be found.

Failing that I'll have to shrink 'em and do a big posting at some point.

 

Dunno where she came from , but I know where I'd like her to go

 

The only irritating thing from the night was the presence of various Polizie-wagons on surrounding roads, poised to pull people for the slightest misdemeanour.

 

I'd hoped to meet up with Tidykart & Bexyboo1312 who were otherwise engaged, but I'm sure they'll be there for the next one in a month or so.

 

Would I go again? Try and stop me

Ahhh Can't believe Imissed it!! When is the next one? Fancy a MINI CONVOY....cargy and tidykart??

 

The owner of the Cossie Rally lookalike used to work for Charlie Browns before it got (conveniently) burnt down....he is a dick of a driver too!!!

 

Ohhhh....Cant wait for next one-hope I can make it ...haha

That pink supra has been going to the cruise ever since it started, but that's the first time it's hit the track.

 

Was there any special events cargy- they normally have a drag car there?

Was it busy- being the first cruise of the year?

 

There just no pleasing Mike is there??? To be fair it's not awesome but it's nice to see most of the modded cars in the South down there, and there are some seriously modded cars doen there.And it's police friendly

 

Ye definetly bexy- me, you, cargy and scuzzie2k (if ya driving) should do a mini meet, that'd be cool.

 

Ye the police out there are a pain in the ar*e, but ya normally find that people bomb it down the spur road after the event.

 

Ye would be great to all be there for the next meeting- I'll try and find out if no one does before I do- but good news for Bournemouth Cruising.

According to my ticket, the next one's on 1st May.

 

I wasn't very well yesterday, so I didn't get there until late I reckon I missed the best stuff, but I got a pretty good taster with what I did see !

 

One lot of old Bill were on the slip to the Spur Road, and I was cacking it cos I have a tyre on the limit (which is being replaced tomorrow ). Luke wanted me to do me usual and floor it onto the Spur Road and got really grumpy cos I did a nice 70mph then 50mph at the "catch the tourist" section. Like I said to him I don't play with matches in a dynamite factory

 

 

There were more down Castle Lane and a couple around on the Hurn Road
