The bloke who is doing my engine conversion has done a couple before (mondeo zetecs -> escorts) and has used the escort oil pump each time. This also allows for a normal sized filter to be used.

 

Just wondering if anyone knows if a 1.6 oil pump on a 2.0L is a bad idea??

 

Can't think of anyone who hasn't used the 2.0 pump..........
