Drk_red_Mk5 Posted September 23, 2005 Share Posted September 23, 2005 easy enuff to replacee it, undo all the wires connected in the top, undo main feed main ground and other wire and slide it out. takes a bit of wiggling about tho. did the central locking even work when you 1st had the car? Drk_red_Mk5 Posted September 24, 2005 Share Posted September 24, 2005 are you sure that the car actually has centeral locking? coz if its never worked and the fuse is not there, id place a bet (albeit a small one,lol) that the car doesnt actually have it in there. what model is it? or it could be the f-box was replaced b4 with one out a low model, ,like an L (my one is an L, NO equipment in it!lol) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
PeeWee Posted September 24, 2005 Author Share Posted September 24, 2005 Sorry for late reply but bin servicing the car.I know what your saying dark red mk5.Mine is an L reg Mk5b.It has the central locking relay and wiring plus the boot lid switch.You maybe correct in saying the fusebox may have been replaced with an older model one.Hmmm???
