ryanrs
I have a 130 PS ecu from a feista rs1800... does anyone kno if this is the correct ecu for the 130 PS conversion?? ie, non pats? would this ecu's 60pin wiring layout need adjusting like with the 2.0 conversion? also, i have all the 130 ps cams, 2ltr TB & MAF already installed and running on a mondeo 2.0 ECU... would i be better keeping the 2.0 ECU installed or shall i use the 130 fiesta one that i have?? the 2.0 ecu im using works fine , brilliant infact.. so obviously, unless the 130 ECU is gona make a furthur extra difference over the 2.0, id rather leave it how it is.. ehat do yall recon? Stu
You use a 1.8 ecu on a 1.8 and a 2.0 ecu on a 2.0.. simple eh
ryanrs
You use a 1.8 ecu on a 1.8 and a 2.0 ecu on a 2.0.. simple eh i no, that would make sense, but the ammount of difference that the 2.0 ecu made over the std 115ps ecu was unreal.. it was like driving a different car.. guess ill just have to try it and see. Stu
I'm not sure why there is so much confusion here. ECU's are mapped for engine specs. You use the appropriate ECU for your spec. It's not rocket science.
