Ford Escort GTI with LPG conversion

Just brought me a corrado VR6 with a LPG conversion so the escorts up for sale

Perfect second/winter car as super cheap to run will do 185k on £13 of LPG!

Hence my buying another LPG car cheaper than a diesel and still a nippy car.

LPG is switchable from switch in car slightly less responsive on LPG But can be switched over to petrol at any time you think you need that little extra.

Has covered an average 108k body is in good condition apart from a patch of rust were the spoiler meets the boot and crack in the rear bumper. need it gone as have no space for 2 cars so a cheap £1500

Metallic slate blue

Mint 16" cossie style alloys

Good tyres all round

Mot and tax

I have certificate for the cat one alarm and lpg conversion

Parts that have been replaced in last year so in top mechanical condition:

Clutch

Bottom arms

Head gasket Inc skim

Cam belt and rollers

Piper back box

Windscreen

Standard GTI spec:

Good condition half leather interior

elec windows

elec boot release

Remote c/locking

6 speed wipers

Air con - recharged this summer so ice cold

Power steering

115 hp

5 door

Will get some photos up soon :)

Just to confrim I mean 185 miles for £13 of lpg!

heres some lpg info:

There are plenty of LPG stations you dont relise till you start using them, for example the are 2 within 5 miles from my house and 1 a few miles from my work

Also you can get an LPG poi for most sat navs systems which come in well handy!

hear are a couple of web site with lpg station lists and info:

185 miles for 13 quid,is that really that cheap??

1500 pound initaial outlay and it covers 569 miles for 40 quid (maths)

Wheras a standard petrol one will do 100 miles less or maybe less than that for same price

Personally i think LPG is a con.Theres a new car comin out however with a 2.0 V10 mated with a leccy motor,has over 300BHP and does 42MPG.Shocker
