glen Posted January 8, 2006 Share Posted January 8, 2006 Just brought me a corrado VR6 with a LPG conversion so the escorts up for sale Perfect second/winter car as super cheap to run will do 185k on £13 of LPG!Hence my buying another LPG car cheaper than a diesel and still a nippy car.LPG is switchable from switch in car slightly less responsive on LPG But can be switched over to petrol at any time you think you need that little extra. Has covered an average 108k body is in good condition apart from a patch of rust were the spoiler meets the boot and crack in the rear bumper. need it gone as have no space for 2 cars so a cheap £1500 Metallic slate blueMint 16" cossie style alloysGood tyres all roundMot and taxI have certificate for the cat one alarm and lpg conversionParts that have been replaced in last year so in top mechanical condition: ClutchBottom armsHead gasket Inc skimCam belt and rollersPiper back boxWindscreen Standard GTI spec: Good condition half leather interiorelec windowselec boot releaseRemote c/locking 6 speed wipersAir con - recharged this summer so ice coldPower steering115 hp5 door Will get some photos up soon Just to confrim I mean 185 miles for £13 of lpg! Craig855S Posted January 9, 2006 Share Posted January 9, 2006 185 miles for 13 quid,is that really that cheap?? 1500 pound initaial outlay and it covers 569 miles for 40 quid (maths) Wheras a standard petrol one will do 100 miles less or maybe less than that for same price Personally i think LPG is a con.Theres a new car comin out however with a 2.0 V10 mated with a leccy motor,has over 300BHP and does 42MPG.Shocker Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

How can it be a con when its half the price of petrol compared to petrol i save at least £100 every single month... any ways this isnt a lpg thread its a for sale.
