If it is a turbo then it should have worked by just plugging in the loom at the back of the unit. As far as I know the wiring would should all be in place, it certainly is for petrol escorts that didn't come with a rev counter. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I was lead to believe it was but only have limited knowledge so ain't gonna argue. The wiring was there for my last car which was a 1.6 zetec Mk5B. Perhaps they never put in the wiring on mk6's?
