1st car!

 

 

a mk5b 1.3 hcs escort!! loved it (as anyone does there 1st car) n wanted to keep it forever! however, got a TAD carried away 1 night in it and....

 

 

reshaped the front end! lol

 

not put off by it i got a new set of lights, pulled the bonnet back in somet like, and pulled out the slam panel by chainin the back end to me dads car the front end with a chain puller to a post n pulled it back out loL!

 

then got onto everyones fav website fleabay n got me an xr3i front bumber in radient red (or pink as it does tend to fade lol)

 

 

this was about the same time i met the lunatic of riks on the old mk5 register website!

 

 

that was taken at oxford, its 1st proper show (where i was racin a 1.8 all the way down the motor way AND keepin up (just) but blew the head gasket LMAO!!!

 

 

then came a bit of lowering!

 

and my 1st bling LMAO!!!

 

n thats how she stood at the end!!!

 

but just didn't have the power n after seein luna's minty mint petrol blue mk6 escort, had to have 1, so the radient pink 1 got traded in for this!

 

the 1 thing 1 HAD to have " a panther black 1.6 SI!"

 

 

couple days after i got it, me n luna took it on the rollin road to see what it could achieve, a MIGHT 90 brake horse!!

 

 

them christmas tree alloys had to go so bought a set of GTI rims off a m8 (n you might be see these on another TD ford in the very near future!! )

 

 

not long after it was twatted in the back by a corsa, so cause the bloke wanted to settle out of insurance, i had a set of GTI skirts n spats sprayed and fitted all thanks to him as he paid for that n all! lmao!!

 

 

me engine bay bling then started appearin!

 

 

next up was the 1st bootbuild!

 

 

piccy taken at the RSOC day at santa pod, next to a rather nice tiger stripped XR3i i was rather fond of!

 

 

12 months after the 1st outin on the rollers it went on again! 109 brake this time round! 19 up on the year before!

 

 

 

n its pretty much grown from there into what yer can see now, a new bootbuild, more bling, got RID of the lexarse lights for some smoked ones, morettes fitted you all know the score from here on in.

future plans

 

well got the koni adjustables coming thanks to JDMsport, with that i'm gettin the camber adjustable lower arms so i dont wear the insides off me new 16" tyres in a week. lookin into a lower strut brace to go with the top front 1 and the rear strut brace.

 

also gettin a mk5 bulge bonnet at the end of the month (hopefully) intendin to cut the front off it and weld a mk6 front on it to match in. the alternative is to just cut the bumps out but i've seen it done and cause the mk5 bonnet was flat with the bulges and the mk6 1 goes up in the middle slightly i dont know if it'd look right

 

then come july time its havin a 2 litre transplant!!

 

i've read somewhere that there certain issues with the oil filter - have to use a cvh one??? might do that or just get one of those kits so i can move it, pipe it upto the top but the gearbox cover in me engine bay
