BadBoy Remixed
Nodding dog becomes splodded dog It's estimated that more than 5,000 people are alive today thanks to the introduction of car seat laws in the UK. Around 100,000 have been saved from serious injuries due to seat belts according to Government figures. But while the vast majority belt up, many motorists still let their family dog sit on the back seat or lie unrestrained in the boot of their estate car, according to breakdown service Autonational Rescue. Spokesman Ronan Hart commented: "Most dogs often weigh as much as a child - and sometimes as much as a small adult - so they can cause serious injury in an accident. Small dogs on the back shelves of cars are a danger to themselves and other passengers in the event of a crash, when they can be hurled fowards smashing into a bloody mess on the windscreen and leaving entrails on your dashboard.
