John Posted February 7, 2003 Share Posted February 7, 2003 has anyone polished a cam cover on a zetec engine? i've just bought my gti and it's mint (only 24k on the clock with history) only thing is everytime i look at the engine i think the cam cover lets it down. have any of you actually polished one of these? i've had a bit of a go with some wire wool and t cut and it's not coming up bad for the short time i spent on it but any tips would be great. i'm also considering trying to pick up a cam cover so i can get the thing polished and sorted without it being on the car, does anyone know if these are hard to get hold of or any sort of price for a second hand one? cheers john x: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
