Chris Posted February 28, 2003 Share Posted February 28, 2003 Does any1 have a engine diagram or a picture of their engine where they could point out the exact location of the idle control valve for me as i am planning on cleaning it 2moro as my cars idling badly going down to 400 rpm then up to 1200-1500 then back down again and sumtimes cuts out when cold . JonC Posted March 5, 2003 Share Posted March 5, 2003 I know where the idle control valve is on the 1.8 zetec 1998 engine and its a b*stard to get too...also if you remove the bracket that holds the throttle cable then you can insert an allen key and adjust the idle level, i had to have mine adjusted when i put the 2ltr throtle body oni will do a pic with an arrow on it if needed Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
